My mother, Kelli Gahring, is my hero because she is a hard working and intelligent person. She is a mother of two, and she is a banker. She inspires me to achieve great things and be the best I can in life. She always listens to me and helps me with my problems. She is someone you can talk to and she will listen and help you. My mother is a person who does not care if she has to cancel her plans to help one of us, or still has to get us ready for school in the morning even though she is sick, or doesn't feel good.
My mother is loving, caring, selfless, kind, brave, and strong. She has the kindest heart and loves to help people. She is always there for me and she puts others before herself. If I was upset she would help me and I love her for that. She is always someone I can go to if I need something. She understands me, even though I know my sister and I can be hard to put up with sometimes! My hero is my mother, my guardian, and my best friend. My mother is my hero because she protects me, and I know if I was in trouble she would be there to help me. My mother is a hero to me because she is there for me, and I know I can trust her. She teaches me many new things, and is amazing mother to have. I am glad that I have a person like her in my life. She is an amazing person who inspires me daily, and I hope I grow up to be just like her one day.

About me During this past summer I went to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I went with my cousins and family friends. It was an amazing time there and I hope to go back. I also went to the Ohio State Fair to show my goats. I didn't place at the State Fair, but I did get second in my class at the Huron County Fair. At the Huron County Fair I showed goats and pigs. I got Reserve Doe and second in showmanship for pigs. I was very thankful for everything that happened!
I am Madison Gahring and my short-term goals are to get good grades this year and make my national team for Black Swamp Volleyball. I will work hard in class, study, and get my homework done on time to achieve my goal of getting good grades. To get on the national team I will have to do my best and work hard at tryouts and at practices. My long-term goals are to graduate with a 3.75 GPA or higher and to either become a vet or something to do with animals. I also want to play college volleyball and I hope to get a scholarship too! I am going to have to work hard and try my best to complete these goals, but hopefully they will be achieved! Week of August 29th - September 2nd
